SPVS recebe medalha de Mérito Ambiental por parceria com Batalhão de Polícia Ambiental do Paraná

A Sociedade de Pesquisa em Vida Selvagem e Educação Ambiental (SPVS) recebeu a medalha de Mérito Ambiental pelo trabalho em prol da natureza. A medalha, concedida pelo Batalhão de Polícia Ambiental do Paraná – Força Verde, é entregue anualmente a militares estaduais, instituições e civis que atuam em prol do meio ambiente em parceria com o Batalhão. A solenidade de entrega ocorreu no último dia 4 durante a comemoração dos 62 anos da instituição policial, realizada no Palácio Iguaçu.
A SPVS mantém, desde 2005, parceria com o Batalhão de Polícia Ambiental – Força Verde com o qual atua em ações de fiscalização e proteção realizadas nas três reservas naturais criadas e mantidas pela instituição no Litoral paranaense: a Reserva Natural das Águas e a Reserva Natural Guaricica, em Antonina, e a Reserva Natural Papagaio-de-cara-roxa, em Guaraqueçaba.
