Restaurante tradicional de Curitiba encerra atividades no final do mês

O tradicional restaurante Scavollo anunciou oficialmente nesta quarta-feira (9) que vai encerrar suas atividades no próximo dia 31. Segundo o proprietário, Ernesto Villela, o fechamento da casa se dará devido à venda do imóvel na esquina das ruas Emiliano Perneta e Desembargador Motta, onde o restaurante funcionou por mais de três décadas, que é alugado. No terreno será erguida uma torre comercial de 10 andares. A notícia foi antecipada pelo portal no dia 26 de abril deste ano.
Porém, a casa que hoje abriga o Scavollo, que é reconhecida como Patrimônio Cultural de Curitiba e tratada como unidade autônoma, será preservada e disponibilizada para locação assim que a torre estiver concluída. O início das obras está previsto para dezembro deste ano. “Não esperava por esta notícia, mas também não lutei contra ela. Na realidade, a novidade foi um impulso para concluirmos essa fase e investirmos em outra operação gastronômica no Batel”, disse Villela. Segundo ele, as próximas semanas terão tom de despedida e oportunidade. O Scavollo se despede do público com os festivais do Fondue e do Mignon.
O empresário diz que concentrará sua atenção em sua próxima empreitada, a abertura de outro endereço, também no coração do Batel. “Nosso próximo empreendimento gastronômico também apostará na culinária italiana e terá espaço para receber até 50 pessoas. Sinal dos novos tempos”, antecipa, sem dar maiores detalhes.
