A Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR) firmou na manhã da última segunda-feira (27) uma parceria com a Universidade de Dankook, da Coreia do Sul, e com a Kent State University, dos Estados Unidos, para que o Campus Florença, na Itália, seja compartilhado entre as três instituições. A parceria foi assinada durante uma cerimônia em Curitiba com representantes das instituições envolvidas e faz parte dos projetos de internacionalização da PUCPR. De acordo com o reitor Waldemiro Gremski, ela terá papel central para incluir a universidade no circuito global da ciência e tecnologia. “A internacionalização faz abrir a universidade para o mundo e também insere o mundo dentro das universidades – duas necessidades imprescindíveis”, disse Gremski.
Inicialmente, serão ofertados programas de curta duração, com o objetivo de evoluir gradualmente para disciplinas completas de graduação e pós-graduação e podendo, no futuro, ofertar semestres completos de graduação. Além disso, todo o portfólio de cursos das universidades parceiras dos Estados Unidos e da Coreia do Sul estarão disponíveis aos alunos da PUCPR, sendo essa uma oportunidade de internacionalização do currículo dos universitários.
