“Méqui”; McDonald’s muda a fachada de alguns de seus restaurantes

Nos primeiros dias do mês, quem passou em frente ao McDonald’s da Avenida Paulista em São Paulo e da Barra da Tijuca no Rio de Janeiro, deve ter ficado curioso ao ver o letreiro “Méqui” na fachada. Mistério resolvido; trata-se de uma ação inédita da rede no Brasil para celebrar a intimidade da marca com seus consumidores. “Méqui”, “Méquizinho” ou “Mczêra” são apenas algumas das maneiras que os clientes se referem ao McDonald’s.
De acordo com João Branco, diretor de marketing do McDonald’s Brasil, o consumidor tem muita proximidade com a marca e nada mais justo do que homenagear quem está sempre por perto. “Trocamos o nome das fachadas de alguns restaurantes por aquele apelido que só o amigo mais próximo ganha. O McDonald’s é pra todo mundo e queremos que as pessoas possam chamar do jeito que quiserem”, afirma.
Na próxima fase da campanha, o “Méqui” vai invadir as redes sociais. As fotos dos perfis oficiais da marca no Twitter, Facebook e Instagram também serão mudadas e, além disso, os clientes poderão contar qual é a sua forma de falar do Mc. A rede vai selecionar os melhores nomes e espalhar em novas ações pelo Brasil.
A assessoria de imprensa do McDonald’s no Paraná afirma que entre as próximas etapas está a mudança do nome nas bandejas e embalagens dos sanduíches. Ainda sem confirmação, a torcida é para que a novidade chegue a Curitiba.
