Grupo Positivo arremata unidades do Expoente por R$ 58 milhões

O Grupo Positivo adquiriu, na manhã desta sexta-feira (11), duas unidades do Colégio Expoente. O Positivo venceu o leilão público com o lance de R$ 58,3 milhões. Em agosto deste ano, a justiça havia pedido a falência do Grupo Expoente por uma dívida estimada em R$ 162,7 milhões.
Além das unidades do Expoente, o Positivo realizou mais aquisições nesta semana. As outras são duas unidades do Colégio Semeador, de Foz do Iguaçu, anunciada na quarta-feira (09) e duas sedes da escola bilíngüe Passo Certo, em Cascavel, divulgada na quinta-feira (10), totalizando seis novas unidades.
As compras desta semana fazem parte de uma estratégia de expansão do Positivo em território nacional, que teve início em 2016. Segundo o presidente da Positivo Educacional, Lucas Guimarães, o foco das aquisições é regional, porém a estratégia engloba diferentes regiões do país. “Neste momento, priorizamos por escolas de alto padrão no Paraná, no entanto, estamos olhando ativamente escolas em outras regiões, devendo fazer novas aquisições nos próximos 12 meses. Para isso, temos o planejamento de investir R$ 200 milhões”, revela.
