Fundador do Hospital Sugisawa morre aos 85 anos

Morreu nesta segunda-feira (21) em Curitiba o médico Saburo Sugisawa, fundador do Hospital Sugisawa. Nascido em 1934 na província de Miyagi Ken, no Japão, ele veio para o Brasil ainda criança com a família. Em Curitiba, formou-se em medicina pela Universidade Federal do Paraná. Em 1987 fundou a Clínica Sugisawa.
Após um período de ampliação física, em 2007 foi inaugurado o Hospital Sugisawa, na Avenida Iguaçu. Pelo amplo atendimento que ofereceu à comunidade nipônica, ele foi contemplado com uma bolsa do governo japonês para estudar no Instituto de Câncer de Tóquio. Saburo Sugisawa deixa três filhos, seis netos e três bisnetos.
O velório está sendo realizado no Cemitério Água Verde (Capela 3) e o sepultamento ocorre nesta terça-feira (22), às 11h.
