Edifício corporativo em Curitiba com construção sustentável economiza R$ 650 mil por ano e é o primeiro do mundo com autossuficiência em água

O edifício Eurobusiness, no Campo Comprido, foi palco de comemoração na manhã desta terça-feira (10). O prédio recebeu no último mês de agosto a certificação LEED Zero Water, da instituição internacional U.S Green Building Council e teve hoje descerrada a placa da certificação no seu hall principal pelo prefeito Rafael Greca. Com esse selo, o Eurobusiness torna-se o primeiro prédio corporativo do mundo com autossuficiência em água.
Com 14 andares e 15.500 m², o edifício conta com dois jardins suspensos de 170 metros quadrados localizados em cima de uma grande cisterna que filtra a água das chuvas para aproveitamento em serviços no prédio, como limpeza e uso nos banheiros. Também faz parte da construção um sistema de tratamento de efluentes (ETE) que trata todo o resíduo sanitário organicamente. Além do aproveitamento da água, o edifício tem 38 painéis fotovoltaicos que garantem que toda a energia usada no empreendimento seja limpa. Com toda essa tecnologia usada na sua construção, o Eurobusiness economiza R$ 650 mil por ano.
