Artistas de rua pedem reunião com Greca para regularizar suas atividades profissionais

Nesta quarta-feira (2), a Câmara Municipal de Curitiba recebeu um coletivo de artistas de rua. O encontro aconteceu por iniciativa do vereador Mestre Pop (PSC) e resultou em um pedido de agendamento de reunião entre os artistas e o prefeito Rafael Greca, para encontrar uma regulamentação da atividade profissional que não os impeça de utilizar espaços públicos. O vereador falou sobre esse assunto no início da sessão plenária e a Câmara ficou responsável por tentar fazer a reunião acontecer.
O palhaço Tico Bonito leu uma carta na qual destacava a contribuição dada pelos artistas à cidade, desde o turismo até a preservação da identidade cultural; e em nome de todos formalizou o pedido pela reunião. “Não é de hoje que existimos nos espaços públicos. Na Grécia Antiga, já existíamos. Um turista americano não vem para Curitiba para comer no McDonald’s, nem um nordestino para comprar roupas de inverno. A arte de rua movimenta o comércio local. Não é competitividade, é complemento”, disse Leonides Quadra, nome real do palhaço.
Diversos vereadores concordaram que a reunião deve acontecer e assinaram o pedido. Pier Petruzziello (PTB), líder do Executivo na Câmara, confirmou que pedirá o agendamento, cabendo à administração decidir pela realização da reunião. Confira abaixo a leitura da carta dos artistas na íntegra:
