Petit Batel, o nano bairro curitibano, começa a sair do papel

Aconteceu nesta terça-feira (26) a primeira reunião dos comerciantes que estão propondo a criação do Petit Batel, uma região delimitada pelas ruas Presidente Taunay, Dom Pedro II, Coronel Dulcídio, Gutemberg, Comendador Araújo e Vicente Machado, entre outras. O encontro foi no Lucca Café e reuniu os proprietários de estabelecimentos do entorno, entre eles a galeria Simões de Assis, o artista Rettamozzo, que tem ateliê no Shopping Novo Batel, a floricultura Gazebo, o Hotel Nomaa, o salão Torriton Taunay, o restaurante Sel et Sucre, a confeitaria Caramelodrama e o próprio Lucca, além de moradores. O vereador licenciado Luiz Felipe Braga Côrtes, autor de emenda ao projeto de videomonitoramento proposto pela Prefeitura de Curitiba, também participou como apoiador do movimento.

A ideia, segundo Eduardo Feliz, sócio do Lucca Café, é criar um nano bairro, a exemplo dos existentes em Londres e Nova York, abrindo um espaço de conveniência, gastronomia e entretenimento para os curitibanos e turistas. Ainda de acordo com o empresário, o nome e a área que o constitui surgiram de conversas entre frequentadores, moradores e empresários que atuam na região. Segundo o manifesto de constituição do Petit Batel, a proposta é agir de forma orgânica para incrementar os três principais pilares que a sustentam: urbanidade, convivência e turismo. Bares da região ficaram de fora da proposta por sugestão dos próprios comerciantes.

Logo após a reunião, Eduardo Feliz encontrou casualmente o prefeito Rafael Greca na pizzaria Moda di Napoli, onde o prefeito costuma bater ponto. Ele disse a este portal que comentou o assunto com Greca e perguntou se receberia os comerciantes e moradores envolvidos para uma reunião na prefeitura. O prefeito respondeu que sim e indicou um assessor para preparar o encontro. O próprio Greca lembrou ao empresário ser morador da região.

As pessoas ali reunidas sabem “fazer acontecer” com os próprios empreendimentos a décadas e estão criando um espaço público onde as ideias serão debatidas, os problemas analisados, as tendências positivas apoiadas… Será na interação propositiva entre empresas, comerciantes, moradores e turistas que as coisas boas sairão. Oxigênio pela cidadania contra a asfixia dos polêmicos pessimistas de plantão. Com a atenção dos governantes locais talvez se concretizem coisas boas e o legado será apreciado, lá, na frente.

    • Engraçado, só o rico que pode ocupar e fazer “associação de moradores” pra se apossar de espaço público pago pelo imposto de todos (excluindo o principal atrativo da região, os bares, pq bares são feios).

  10. Realmente a região possui uma atmosfera diferente e deveria ser cuidada e aprimorada com iniciativas como essa. Porém o que eu vejo nessa região é um descaso da Prefeitura, liberando alvará para esses bares e casas noturnas infernizarem a vida dos moradores da região. A plebe sebosa de todo canto da cidade se reúne na Coronel Dulcídio pra consumir drogas e urinar no portão das casas…como vejo na frente da casa da minha namorada que mora na Coronel Dulcídio.
